Ytong and Silka blocks provide acoustic comfort
Since sound insulation is an important factor when choosing materials for interior walls in a hotel, the investor chose Ytong AAC blocks of different thicknesses for the masonry of the load-bearing exterior walls and partitions. Areas requiring greater sound insulation were equipped with interior walls made of Silka-Acoustic blocks. Apart from its high sound-insulating properties, Silka masonry has a high load-bearing capacity and meets the highest requirements for fire safety regulations. The total volume of Ytong and Silka blocks used for the project is approximately 3,500 cubic meters.
A place like in the movies
Bojnice is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Slovakia. A famous castle, probably built in the early 12th century, stands in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. It is also regularly used as a movie set and houses the country's most popular museum. The surrounding area is known for its sulfurous hot springs, making it ideal for a wellness and spa vacation. However, the area is also very popular as a health resort. To meet the growing demand, the operators of the Kozlišov Spa Hotel have decided to expand their facility.
The spa hotel is expected to receive its first guests before Easter. It has five floors and a total capacity of 318 beds, plus facilities for medical and rehabilitative services and gastronomic offerings. In addition to the construction of the main building, visitors will now also have access to a renovated swimming pool and a new observation tower.
