Xella Student Competition 2018
For 29 years, the Xella Group has been supporting students of architecture and civil engineering in Germany through its student competition.
In addition to linking theory and practice, the competition serves to develop possible solutions for future trends and building projects. With the title "Architektur Museum München - ein Forum für Architektur im Kunstareal", the competition was dedicated to the construction of a new architecture museum in Munich. The special feature of this year's competition was the additional presentation of the BIM Award, a prize for digital planning services. First place was given to Felix Reiter and Florian Hauß from the TU Berlin. All the winners of the student competition were honoured at a ceremony held at the TU Munich. Next year there will again be an invitation to the Xella student competition. The topic has not yet been decided, but we can already count on high-quality entries.
