Handing over the baton within the Xella Group IT. Florian Ziegler (36) takes over the position of Head of Group IT and is now responsible for the entire IT unit of the Xella Group. He takes over the position from Dr. Michael Baars, who will go into well-deserved retirement following his successful career at the end of the year. Both IT experts have been working closely together for several years, that the handover has been prepared for a long time.

Florian Ziegler is a proven IT expert and has been working at Xella Baustoffe GmbH for more than five years, most recently as Head of IT of the important Xella Building Materials business unit. Before joining Xella, the graduate in business informatics worked for various consulting companies and was responsible for international SAP rollout projects. The passionate soccer fan balances his demanding tasks by spending time with his family and doing triathlons.

Florian Ziegler is very familiar with the IT structures and processes of the Xella Group and has helped to establish them in recent years. He will continue to push and develop the group-wide implementation of the defined IT strategy. He will also remain in his current position as Head of IT of Xella's Building Materials business unit.
