Powered by renewables: new photovoltaic system installed at the Pontenure plant in Italy

One of our most important missions is to produce energy more efficiently. To this end, we have already installed photovoltaic systems at many sites. At the beginning of May, another plant in Italy was put into operation. Others will follow.

More energy efficiency with photovoltaic systems

In April 2021 the first photovoltaic system was commissioned on the roof of the Xella production plant in Atella, Italy and covers now 60 to 65 percent of the energy needs of the production plant. More systems are coming in 2022.
